BiofacetWeb


​BiofacetWeb (BFWeb) is a software that complements the Biofacet engine.
BiofacetWeb operates on any Biofacet database, primarily on all databases provided through the BiofacetCast service (the “Hotdrive”). It allows:

  • global and efficient data searching and rendering to end-users (through the databases “Tree”),
  • programmability and interoperability on-site, to programmers.
    More specifically, BiofacetWeb allows complete management (addition, deletion, modification, …) of the databases Tree,
    ​allowing full control over proprietary databases on-site.

BiofacetWeb is a Service Oriented Architecture providing Web interfaces to the “external world” through:
  • RESTful Web Services
  • a UI for the end users​
